Vision 3000 aluminium clad timber windows from Glas Facades limited are now available in a range of specifications, achieving Window Energy Ratings in bands A, B and C.

Whilst a grade C rated window is considered an excellent energy efficient window system, the ultimate grade A window means that the tested configuration will actually absorb more energy from the sun during a year than it loses back through the window during the same year This is a very hard standard to achieve and requires the use of near airtight window seals, low-iron white glasses for solar gain and highly insulating coated glasses coupled with insulating inert gas between the panes of the glazing units

The Vision 3000 range combines an aluminium outer profile with a solid timber internally, in a natural or painted finish.

Exceptional airtightness is a feature of the windows, which in independent tests have exceeded a Class 4 rating, the highest rating available under EN 12207: 1999-11.

Vision 3000 windows use PEFC certified timber from sustainable forest suppliers.

The superior construction includes specially formed CNC machined corner joints and cross grained timber main members for exceptional strength.

High performance glazed units coupled with class leading air tightness can save vast amounts of energy use not only throughout the life of the window but from its manufacturing point forward.

This means that products may be suitable for Carbon Neutral, Zero Carbon or PassivHaus developments.
