Gleeds sponsors foremost event in
graduate design
Gleeds has once again sponsored the Spatial Design Zone of one Europe's foremost exhibitions, celebrating design excellence.
The "New Designers" exhibition showcases the work, energy and talent of some of the finest graduate designers from across the UK The Spatial Design Zone featured in Part Two of the exhibition, and was held from 10th - 13th July 2008, at the Business Design Centre in London

The Gleeds New Designer Award was presented on 9th July to Alexander Strakhov from the Cardiff School of Art and Design for his project entitled 'The Journey'.
He was viewed as the exhibitor best showing a respect for the built environment, innovation and creativity, and a consideration for sustainability in his designs.
Alexander received a GBP1,000 cheque and a one month work experience placement in the growing division of Gleeds Project Management Services.
Lat year's winner, Jemma Ham of LDA Design, commented, "Winning the spatial design award sponsored by Gleeds last year was a great experience, it gave me a vast insight into the workings behind projects and the opportunity to meet and collaborate with architects to develop my winning design".
"Gleeds exposed me to all aspects of their company helping give me a clear direction on what path to take my future career and were very supporting and welcoming, making my time there extremely rewarding and great fun".
Commenting on the event, Richard Steer, Senior Partner of Gleeds said, "Gleeds is delighted to be sponsoring New Designers at a time when the evolution of design talent has never been more significant".
"We are keen to celebrate and help recognise some of the finest graduate architects and designers, who will inevitably shape our landscape for years to come.".
