Glazing Visions Flushglaze range of rooflights constructed and fitted to provide a light, airy and spacious atmosphere to complement the architects innovative design at Norfolk school.

Glazing Vision, the original frameless glass rooflight manufacturer, has long enjoyed an enviable reputation amongst architects and specifiers for its innovative and luxurious rooflight solutions but their name is also well known amongst the contractors involved in building works implemented by local authorities which include the refurbishment, extension and reconfiguration of new build of Schools, Libraries and Public Buildings.

One such contractor, Mansell Construction Services Plc, are mid contract in the construction of a new 150-place Complex Needs School for Norfolk County Council that will give children an improved learning environment and will comprise of a therapy suite with a hyrapool, a sports hall and a resource base for other schools and agencies to utilise.

Amongst the specific environmental initiatives to be demonstrated are the use of natural light and ventilation systems and prefabricating materials and off-site construction.

From Glazing Visions Flushglaze range, 7 rooflights, all of differing dimensions, were constructed and fitted to provide a light, airy and spacious atmosphere to complement the architects innovative design.

Glazing Vision have also manufactured and fitted 12 Flushglaze rooflights at a local high school where Mansells were contracted to extend and undertake significant alterations to the school to allow an additional year group whilst modernising existing facilities and a further Mansells project has involved the construction and supply of 3 Visionvent rooflights for a primary school in Plymouth.

Commenting on the above projects, Patsy Adams, Business Development Manager at Mansell Construction said that Glazing Vision had been an outstanding subcontractor, working as a part of the team and it was that teamwork that enabled deadlines to be met and ensured that schedules were adhered to.

All Glazing Vision units are designed, engineered and manufactured at the company's own production plant in Brandon, Suffolk and each is pre-assembled and tested prior to being shipped to any global destination.
