Gradus guards the walls of Scottish Gateway
A range of products from Gradus Wall Protection have been specified to protect the walls in the busy pedestrian and trolley areas of Glasgow Airport.
"The ongoing impact from wheeled traffic was leading to regular repairs of electrical sockets and surfaces, which was not only proving costly, but was inconvenient as well".
Combining performance with aesthetics, the floor rail has been used to provide indirect protection against impact from the low-projecting catering trolleys by keeping them away from the wall surfaces, whilst offering a sophisticated and unobtrusive finish to the interior design.
The hygienic properties of stainless steel also made the floor rail the perfect solution for the project: "Stainless steel was definitely the right material for the job - it limits bacterial growth, is corrosion resistant and easy to clean, offering a hygienic solution ideal for this environment".
