Grand Designs Live London has grown in size to span nine days and accommodate new and interactive show features.
Organisers of the UK's number one consumer show, Grand Designs Live London, are working with exhibitors, sponsors and designers to create a thrilling environment packed with even more creative displays and new show-stopping features, devised to stimulate creativity, enthusiasm and ingenuity Based on Channel 4's hugely successful Grand Designs series, presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, the live exhibition brings together over 500 exhibitors, one ticket will provide visitors with access to six inspiring exhibitions under one roof

Visitors will leave Grand Designs Live London entertained, inspired and educated on all forms of design and build thanks in part, to the infinite number of interactive show features on display.
Grand Designs Live London show features 2008: The Power House: visitors, celebrities and even the British cycling team will be challenged to power a house, using pedal power.
Only when the setting is switched to be more energy efficient, will the house be able to be powered.
Traditional build techniques: during the course of the event, a team of professionals will build a structure, inviting visitors and celebrities to try their hand at the techniques being showcased.
Grand Designs Fabric: visitors will be invited to become part of official Grand Designs Live 'Face Fabric' using a special camera to capture an array of faces including various celebrities.
Images will then be used to create a bespoke piece of fabric, which will be used to upholster a sofa live at the event.
House of the Future: this intriguing feature will be set up as an auditorium where the audience will watch a team of actors demonstrate the latest range of hi-tech home products, showcasing the latest products available in an interactive format.
Contain-a-rooms: leading UK magazines will transform the interiors of shabby sea containers, before taking residence throughout the course of the event.
Icon at Grand Designs Live London: working with some of the world's most thought-provoking designers, the aim is to produce the antidote to home shows, with performances, interaction design, animation and special projects to encourage audience participation.
Celebrity chefs' kitchen: this feature will display three very different, top-of-the-range kitchens for visitors to see in action.
Each style of kitchen will be aligned with a celebrity chef/restaurant who will host live demonstrations so that visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and taste the signature dishes.
Garden Market: recreating a traditional Covent Garden style street flower market.
Visitors will be able to experience the hustle and bustle of a flower market where they can purchase products from household favourites to exotic specialties.
Living of the land: this feature will graphically demonstrate how an average family can produce fruit and vegetables all year round from just four square metres of their garden.
Adjacent to this will be a juice bar where visitors can pick their own fruit and vegetables to create their favourite juice.
