Hawa AG have launched a new sliding shutter hardware system which is available in the UK exclusively through Hafele UK.
The HAWA Frontslide 60 and 60/matic hardware system for sliding shutters weighing up to 60kgs is available in manual or maintenance free motor driven versions.
Building owners, Architects and Craftsmen are increasingly enthusiastic about sliding window shutters, as they provide adjustable screening and shade, offer attractive facade options and require very little space to operate.
The HAWA Frontslide 60 and 60/matic can be used with wood, metal or plastic shutters between 28 and 40mm thick and weighing up to 60kgs.
Hawa AG have an undisputed sliding system know-how, bringing the legendary Swiss engineering quality to sliding door hardware.
The HAWA Frontslide 60 is a sophisticated product with a number of advantages, it is a space saving way to protect large window frontages from the elements and convenient to install.
The track will fix to walls ceilings and lintels and a clip on cover is supplied for stylish track concealment.
The corrosion resistant materials will give years of faultless operation whether the manual or automatic version is used.
Those who put a premium on convenience will appreciate the idea of electronic shutter control from indoors at the touch of a button, the controller can even be timed or even linked to sensors such as light or wind.
Up to 34 installations can be controlled simultaneously and the system can interface with a central building control bus system.
All system components are,manufactured by Hawa AG, which means no future worries, since parts run faultlessly and maintenance free even after years of intensive use.
