The smooth-running PORTA 100 for glass doors weighing up to 100 kg has been used in sliding door systems for many years, mainly for luxury residential and commercial applications.

Ultra-slim aluminium running track The most striking new development and absolute highlight of the new PORTA Glas 100 GW is the low installation height of the aluminium running track, into which EKU has made the mechanism all but 'disappear'.
Although doors weighing up to 100 kg can glide in the track, the surface mounted track protrudes a mere 58 mm from the ceiling - an extremely attractive solution.
Since the mechanism disappears into the ceiling, the sliding door appears to float through the room - a perfect illusion in design-oriented living and working environments that accentuates the architectural trend toward complete transparency even further.
Running and stopping technology, play-free and continuously adjustable floor guides and glass clamp shoes are just as "typically PORTA" as tool-less installation and fine adjustment of the running gear at the bottom.
The new EKU PORTA 100 Glas GW is suitable for 8, 10 and 12 mm thick sliding glass doors with a maximum height of 2.70 metres and up to 1.60 metres wide.
The sliding doors can have single track or synchronous mechanisms, also in combination with fixed glass elements.
