Hafele produces double action glass door system
Hafele UK offers frameless glazed door systems with the introduction of the Visur double action pivot design.
The Visur system enables fully glazed, double action doors to be specified with no visable fittings.
A fully glazed double action pivot door from Hafele features concealed fixings that do not interfere with the door leaf
All hardware components are all incorporated in the surrounding structures, which can be made from any material due to the discrete and frameless design.
Clampable projections cut out in the glass provide a connection for the pivot fittings.
The bottom glass projection is inserted in the floor pivot located in the recessed casing.
At the top, the upper projection disappears into the top pivot unit located in the concealed overhead transom box.
This box conceals the self closing mechanism which has spring strength EN 4.
It also features a mechanism to prevent any door contact with the frame and adjustable closing speed.
The Visur system has a 65mm offset pivot, operates with 10 or 12 mm thick glass and is suitable for high usage doors, having been endurance tested to over 500,000 operating cycles.
