Hafele launches Bathroom Fittings Catalogue

Hafele has released a catalogue of products for universal bathroom design which offers an alternative to conventional grab rails and other aids for disabled users.

The brochure offers guidance based on BS8300:2009 - Design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people.

As there is no single design to suit the needs of all users, Hafele's experienced specification team will help with the design and specification of your project.

The Programma Cap range of bathroom fittings allow Document M type grab rail and shower seats to be installed which can be folded away when not required allowing the designer to create a bathroom for all users.

Designed and manufactured in Italy by Hafele UK's partners PBA, products in the range include grab rails which fold away into the wall when not in use, useable with both plasterboard or brick walls.

A full set of rails recommended in Approved Document M of the building regulations are also available, along with shower seats, curtain rails and soap dishes.

All the products in the range have been patented and fully tested to European safety standards.

The Cap range is manufactured from extruded aluminium and has a powder coat finish that is highly resistant to chemicals to allow for easy cleaning.

The coating also offers durability and colour fastness and conforms to European standards for coatings for architectural purposes (EN 12206).

Standard finishes are white or slate grey, but other special RAL colours are available on request.

The products of Programma CAP have been tested in the PBA laboratories in accordance with: EN12182-1999.
