Hanson buys Structherm Limited
Hanson Building Products announce the acquisition of Structherm for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Meltham, West Yorkshire, Structherm is a leading supplier of structural cladding and precast concrete building systems The business will continue to be run by its existing directors and management team, led by Managing Director, David Harrison, and will report to Charles Denman, Managing Director of Hanson Building Products' Floors and Precast Division
Structherm's Chairman, Tom Gould, will remain with the Company on a part time basis to provide guidance on new developments and maximising opportunities from the combined businesses.
The acquisition of Structherm will provide Hanson with a significant presence in the market for housing refurbishment and in the use of precast building systems for residential and non-residential construction.
