Hanson Formpave, a leading manufacturer of concrete block pavers and permeable paving solutions, has recently appointed new business merchants manager.

Primarily responsible for building relationships with key accounts and merchant buying groups, Nick Riddle is focusing on Hanson Formpave's significant growth in the merchant sector.

Other people news from Hanson Formpave sees Peter Johns appointed as national specification manager.

Peter is responsible for the company's market leading permeable paving product Aquaflow business division, and will be ensuring that new product and SUDS technology innovations are communicated to specifiers.

"Developing the Hanson Formpave brand into the merchant business sector is increasingly important to us and we are delighted to have promoted Nick, whose expertise will build and nurture business within the sector," said Hanson Formpave managing director Brian Garratt.

Commenting on the appointment of Peter Johns, Brian said "Due to the rapid growth in Aquaflow system sales last year, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Peter to national specification manager".
