To celebrate this milestone they have begun a search for the oldest working Hanix mini-excavator in the UK.

Based in Denton near Manchester, Hanix have been distributing mini-excavators throughout the UK for 20 years this year As the company looks to an exciting future with the release of a whole range of fabulous 'D' series machines, the team put their heads together to work out a way that they could take a nod to their history here in the UK

Company Secretary, Hifumi Ogasahara explains: "Hanix have a valued history in the UK plant industry and although we are now launching our 'D' series machines, we still have feedback from customers who have had one of our mini-excavators for years.

With this in mind and to celebrate our birthday we thought we'd put out a search for the oldest working Hanix mini-excavator in the UK".

"Historically we have quite a loyal following but we'd love to know exactly how far back it still goes? If you have a Hanix machine that's still in use and you think it might fit the bill then please let us know.

You could be in with a chance of winning GBP500.

We are looking for the N80, N120, N150 and the N220 models".

With Anniversary celebrations settling in to full swing at SED 2008 and going on throughout the Summer - Hanix will also be announcing new products set for the UK and Europe.

For now, however, the search for the oldest working mini-excavator is on - make sure you get in touch with Hanix marketing department on 0161 335 2330 or marketing@hanixeurope.com if you think yours is the one.
