Essentially, every device and variable in the building automation system can be accessed by a single, central web based application using any standard web browser.
Among other benefits, users will be able to control lighting and HVAC systems.
Such open and intelligent control of building services can also be used to reduce energy consumption, while monitoring and measuring its usage.
Existing BMS systems and fire alarm acknowledgement can also be monitored by the web server software along with representation of data from all connected systems.
As part of their building automation solution, Hayes Control Systems will also be exhibiting EnOcean's wireless and batteryless light switches and thermostats, which integrate directly into the Beckhoff Ethernet node.
