Hazlin research into product e-tagging
Selected as one of only a few businesses in the UK, Hazlin is to conduct new research into RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or e-tagging.
From a short lead-time, they recently completed a contract to supply twenty-eight new doors in Dulas Ward at Gwynedd Hospital, part of North West Wales NHS Trust (NWWNHST).
The doors were veneered in Crown Cut steamed Beech and fully finished in Hazlin's high-build clear finishing process, which promotes the depth and natural beauty of quality wood veneers.
Where fire performance to FD30* or FD60 standard was required, Hazlin were able to meet the needs of the hospital.
In addition, the doors are guaranteed through Hazlin's BM Trada Quality Fire Door scheme membership.
David Corfield, senior estates officer for buildings at NWWNHST said: "When doors needed replacing after flood damage at Llandudno Hospital in 1995, Hazlin supplied the contractor carrying out the work and that's where I remember them from".

"I think everyone is very pleased with the outcome.".
