Builders across the country waste a staggering 468 hours each per year estimating jobs according to a new set of figures released today.
The job-costing package has been devised by estimating software specialists HBXL of Bristol and is the result of more than 20 years' experience in the building trade.
It is specifically targeted at small businesses and will revolutionise the way small builders and self-builders work.
It will save time in estimating the job, and save money by accurately quantifying the materials required.
In addition to giving the latest prices EstimatorXpress also provides the user with expert building knowledge and handy hints, guiding the user to exactly what equipment they will need to complete the job, from quantities of sand required, to bricks and wall ties.
The software even suggests dates to order goods by to ensure delivery on time.
