Hewden's Environmental Health and Safety Manager, 29 year old Martin Williams, is one of thirty finalists to be recognised in the Future Leaders in Construction Awards, for their achievements to date as well as for their potential to shape and transform tomorrow's construction industry The aim of the award is to identify the next generation of rising stars who are at the forefront of changing the way the industry operates

Targeted at employees under the age of 30 and from across all sectors of the construction industry, Martin has fought off strong competition to make the final 30.

"It's a great achievement for Martin to be listed among the industry's finest".

"We are fully aware of the exceptional talent that we have throughout the company and Martin is obviously a testament to that," says Brian Sherlock, Managing Director at Hewden.

He continues, "We must continue to nurture and develop our rising stars, and to attract further talent to the industry." The 30 finalists will be presented with a trophy and certificate at an awards ceremony within the County Hall at London's South Bank on the 23rd March.

During the awards ceremony, the overall 2007 Construction's Future Leader will also be announced.
