From retail management to construction marketing, this may seem like an unusual career path, but it's one that Nina Chocholko has taken thanks to Hewlett Civil Engineering.

The 25-year old graduate joins Hewlett to work alongside Stuart Firth in Corporate Development, and it's is fair to say Nina brings with her a wide range of experience, gained from working with Leeds Chamber of Commerce and Business Link plus as an events coordinator for a large hotel chain in Leeds.

As part of her new role at Hewlett, Nina is tasked with coordinating events and attending exhibitions and seminars in association with business development, one area where she is confident her experience in events management will come into play.

"During my final year at University I was instrumental in organising a large networking event on behalf of Leeds Chamber of Commerce and Business Link.

This proved to be a great success with over 180 people attending and it gave me the perfect platform to demonstrate my abilities in terms of marketing and events.

"Hewlett is definitely the next step on the career ladder for me and I am looking forward to developing my career further with Hewlett and feel that there are a lot of prospects for me".

Leeds based Hewlett is a successful and growing construction group employing over 400 people within its Civil Engineering, Property Development, Rail and Plant Hire businesses.

The Group is a multi-disciplinary organisation providing a one-stop-shop of services to property developers, including various national house builders, retailers, Regional Development Agencies and Local Authorities.

The company commented: "We are pleased to welcome Nina to Hewlett.

She is an integral part of the team and her events experience will be key in further establishing our exhibition and seminar strategies which form an important part of our ongoing development.".
