HEXIS award for best wide format outdoor
media
Hexis S.A. has won the prize Best Wide Format Outdoor Media of the Year 2008 for their V3000/V3100 vinyl film for solvent inkjet printers.
The prize is based on the product's "highly competitive price, compatibility and wide range of applications" says EDP (European Digital press Association) who each year select the winners of the prestigious award The EDP Association represents the publishers of leading European digital printing magazines and cover 15 countries, 7 different languages and a readership exceeding 240,000 graphic arts professionals

Hexis blue release liner for their white intermediate and high performance self-adhesive graphic vinyl makes weeding faster and easier.
The V3000/V3100 range consists of a 100um (3.9mil) white intermediate vinyl with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive on a 135g/m stabilised Kraft liner.
The product is available with either a grey permanent adhesive (V3000) or a black removable adhesive (V3100).
Both versions come in gloss or matt finish in rolls up to 2m (80in) wide.
The two media are compatible with Mimaki, Mutoh, NUR, Roland, Scitex, Seiko and Vutek solvent and eco-solvent printers.
The products are ideal for outdoor estate agent boards, building site hoardings, poster sites and other short-term promotional signage and markings.
Hexis manufactures a full line of graphic vinyl and digital printing media used for sign making and vehicle markings.
The company owns 2 manufacturing sites and exports 40% of its turnover to over 40 countries, while enjoying sales of EUR 34 million in 2007.
