Nexus Media Communications, organisers of the planned Weldex 2006 Exhibition due to be held in May 2006 at the NEC Birmingham, has announced the cancellation of this industry leading event.
Accreditation For AEC Director
AEC's founding director, James Ferguson, has received Action Energy accreditation for his unique approach to diagnosing improvements in HVAC control strategies.
The company cuts up 70 tonnes of steel per day to produce various components for their range of diggers.
As a result of purchasing the SigmaNEST software, Katmex has made a 8% material saving and a 30% time saving on production.
Another success story for SigmaTEK, again resulting from a visit to their Weldex stand, was with tractor cab manufacturer Airflow Streamlines PLC.
The company, who produce tractor cabs for JCB/Caterpillar vehicles, have a 24-hour production line and required a nesting solution for 4 Trumpf laser cutters and a Trumpf punching machine.
SigmaTEK installed a Powerpack SNW303 to produce the programs and to give accurate production cutting times.
This has meant the company can forward plan their production needs and SigmaTEK is currently working with them to reduce production times further, enabling them to free up at least an extra shift per week.
Manufacturing Manager of Airflow Streamlines PLC Alex Thompson feels that SigmaTEK has proved their weight in gold, "Our visit to their stand at Weldex was fortuitous as the SigmaNEST software has meant we have saved 5% on material and a 30% overall saving".
" In real terms, this represents a £900,000 saving in resources in a year".
