With the recently announced Code for Sustainable Homes being a key issue for architects and housebuilders this year, H+H Celcon is running a new series of free CPD seminars

With the recently announced Code for Sustainable Homes being a key issue for architects and housebuilders this year, H+H Celcon is running a new series of free CPD seminars in early summer 2007.

They will follow the successful format of the previous series with half-day presentations at nine locations throughout England.

The new series will focus on: The Code for Sustainable Homes.

An overview of the Code for Sustainable Homes and a look at the implications for the design and construction of the building fabric.

Building Regulations Part L and Part E.

An update on Part L and Part E, showing how Celcon aircrete performs in relation to the regulations and how that affects compliance with the Code.

Issues to be covered will include airtightness, solutions to 0.25W/mK, Robust Details for housing and thermal linear bridging solutions.

The future of masonry construction.

The Celcon Thin-Joint System, Ra House and other systems.
