Celcon aircrete blocks cuts build time
by 30%
A first-time user of Celcon aircrete blocks has cut his usual build time by 30%, as well as requiring less manpower, for a development of nine flats in Derby.
The three-storey block has three flats on each floor and a lift shaft down the centre Celcon Hi-7 aircrete blocks 100mm thick and of 610mm x 215mm face size were used for the inner skin with brick cladding and a pitched, tiled roof
