H+H points the way to zero carbon future

Leading aircrete manufacturer, H+H UK addressed the sustainability agenda with its range of Celcon aircrete products and systems at this year's Futurebuild.

In addition to its stand (F138), H+H UK is demonstrating ways in which its building solutions can be used to help achieve lower carbon buildings as part of the Road to Zero Carbon feature at the show.

Experts from H+H UK's technical department are also taking part in the Ecobuild seminar programme each day, giving presentations on what every builder needs to know about building to level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, and beyond.

Ian Exall, head of marketing at H+H UK, comments, "Being manufactured largely from recycled materials and with excellent thermal insulation properties, aircrete it is uniquely placed to help builders and specifiers address the demands of the sustainability agenda, helping to create energy efficient healthy buildings whilst also speeding the construction process".

"Our technical experts are on hand at the show to provide advice and demonstrate how to benefit from the full potential of aircrete".

The H+H UK stand includes the innovative Celcon Thin-Joint system and the Celcon Flooring System which gives all the benefits of suspended floors with all the attributes of aircrete.

Also, Ra House, a hassle-free approach to house building which utilises teams of expert installers to complete the weatherproof, high quality masonry shell of a house, quickly and efficiently.

The concept uses Celcon aircrete blocks with the Thin-Joint system, proprietary intermediate floors and roofs with options for Celcon Foundation blocks and the Celcon Flooring System for the ground floor.
