Harsco supplies modular building to Air Museum

A Harsco Infrastructure product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jun 3, 2010

Harsco Infrastructure (formerly SGB) has used its expertise in Rovacabin modular building to provide an education centre at the Midland Air Museum near Coventry.

The two-bay building measuring 12x6m, replaces an old portable cabin, which had been serving as a learning centre for the past 20 years.

With seating for up to 90 people, the new building will provide up-to-date facilities for lectures, seminars and school visits.

The museum had been looking to replace its existing mobile cabin for some time and selected Harsco Infrastructure after obtaining a quote from the company several years previously for a similar project.

The museum was seeking a modular building for reasons of cost, timescales and flexibility.

The Museum felt that the Rovacabin modular building would provide the best solution for their needs and also provide a good support network for the project.

The Rovacabin modular building also allows the museum to extend the building should it need to in the future.
