Regeneration specialists, Higgins Construction PLC has bagged a £1 million contract to create seven new retail outlets from a disused underground car park for client Stonebridge Housing Action Trust.

Regeneration specialists, Higgins Construction PLC has bagged a £1 million contract to create seven new retail outlets from a disused underground car park for client Stonebridge Housing Action Trust, in the London Borough of Brent It is part of a £120 million-regeneration project to develop 1,200 new homes, a health and community centre, nursery school and sports facilities on the Stonebridge Estate

The Higgins contract involves the refurbishment of the underground car park beneath the existing shopping precinct to create the new retail units.

The existing commercial leaseholders will move into the new premises in May 2005.
