Higgins Construction PLC reveals contract with the Presentation Social Investment Agency to build 10 eco-specification family houses in Lambeth.
Higgins Construction PLC reveals its GBP 1.8 million contract with the Presentation Social Investment Agency to build 10 eco-specification family houses in Lambeth borough council's Angell Town estate, is also for residents to train for some of the construction themselves Higgins takes possession of the compact 1.3-acre site this month, to begin groundwork for squeezing in the main two-block construction programme with a May start date based on Mode 1 architect's design
Residents will be trained for the subsequent site work at a new skills centre developed in partnership between Higgins and the national CSV Springboard charity.
The construction of the 10 three-bedroom homes is part of the estate's complete GBP 67 million regeneration project that began in 1999.
