Higgins Construction appointed main contractor for Dartford Borough Council's development of new £1.6 million office for Swanscombe and Greenhithe Town Council on an ex-quarry site.
Regeneration specialist Higgins Construction PLC is confirmed as the appointed main contractor for Dartford Borough Council's development of a new £1.6 million office for Swanscombe and Greenhithe Town Council on an ex-quarry site The chalky nature of the site requires unusually deep 30-metre concrete piles for the building's two-storey pre-cast concrete structure, designed by the Sidcup-based Frankham Consultancy Group to contain public amenity space
Frankham is the QS, as well as structural engineer.
Essex-based Higgins begins construction on site on 30 January for the 45-week programme.
