The paint camouflages army vehicles and, in particular, helps to minimise the risk of being detected by enemies wearing night-vision goggles.
Hi-Tec Spray also supplied and installed paint feed and circulation equipment to deliver the plural component material from 200 litre barrels directly to the ProMix machines.
ABRO's project manager, Richard McIntyre, said: "The Graco units have allowed us to spray paint vehicles quicker and easier than ever before.
When we used to mix the paint and hardener by hand, we had to wait about 20 minutes to allow each application to reach the right consistency.
We would also waste about half a litre of paint after every coating as it dried so rapidly".
Used with the DeVilbiss Compliant spray guns, also provided by Hi-Tec Spray, the ProMix Easy applies the paint quickly.
The units have saved us a considerable amount of time, as they mix the paint automatically so it is instantly ready to use and the mixture stays wet for longer, meaning we have less wastage, which saves us money.
Hi-Tec Spray also put a training package together as part of the contract, to enable all our staff to use the machines in the most effective way.
