The event, organised by the Painting and Decorating Association, took place at the New Cavendish Club, Great Cumberland Place, London.
Hi-Tec Spray's Garry Dowling and Richard Miller gave the owners and managers of large London-based painting and decorating companies some top tips on the benefits of spray-painting, as well as a practical guide to choosing the correct type of spray equipment for different applications.
Mr Dowling explained to the audience how using a Graco airless spray applicator to do the work not only gave a better finish but could be up to 10 times faster than traditional, manual methods, covering up to 200 square metres in just an hour.
He said: "Spraying not only offers better quality but, because it allows you to get the job done faster than using a roller, it can dramatically cut labour costs and therefore make companies more competitive.
