Agricultural manufacturing company Browns Agricultural Machinery boast the very latest paint spray equipment thanks to kit supplied by surface coatings technology specialist Hi-Tec Spray.

Agricultural manufacturing company Browns Agricultural Machinery will be boasting the very latest paint spray equipment when it relocates its business to an ultra-modern plant in Leighton Buzzard, thanks to kit supplied by surface coatings technology specialist Hi-Tec Spray Browns Agricultural Machinery, which has been manufacturing components for agricultural and forestry equipment for 175 years, will be moving from Mentmore Road in Linslade to Grovebury Road in Leighton Buzzard in December

Hi-Tec Spray was awarded the contract to custom-design and fit a GBP20,000 paint spray booth for the new factory and supply electrostatic equipment worth GBP8,000.

Hi-Tec Spray's Simon Ife said: "We supplied two Graco Merkur 30:1 air assisted pumps fitted with manual Pro Xs AA electrostatic guns to finish Browns Agricultural's wide range of agricultural and forestry equipment".

Jim Brown from Browns Agricultural Machinery said: "Our old spray booth was about 20 years old so we decided to upgrade our equipment for our new premises.

We approached Hi-Tec Spray because they were able to supply us with a new booth that would be entirely suited to our needs.

Our new plant is due to be fully operational in January 2006 and as the new equipment will reduce paint wastage, it should reduce our costs and improve production at the same time".

Hi-Tec Spray is also a leading distributor for other top international manufacturers, including Wagner, ITW DeVilbiss, ITW Binks, Kremlin, Sames, Iwata and Sagola.

The company has a network of seven depots covering Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Stowmarket, Maidstone, Birmingham and Dartford.
