A Hi-Tec Spray product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 19, 2008

Another first in airless plaster sprayers: Graco piston-driven, compressor-less T-Max 657 solution for interior plasterers and decorators when applying plaster coatings.

Hi-Tec Spray (HSL) have added yet another revolutionary Graco product to its advanced range of texture sprayers - the piston-driven, compressor-less T-Max 657 - delivering another radical solution for interior plasterers and decorators when applying plaster coatings as well as fillers and other decorative materials.

Apart from relegating the compressor to "optional" status, so reducing investment in plant, a striking, new and unique feature of the T-Max 657 is its capability to apply both ready mixed plasters and conventional, made-on-site material.

The modular cart, pump and 6 bag/bucket capacity hopper components are easily dismantled without tools and enable single-operator use.

In compressor-less mode this high performer can deliver 7 lpm at up to 65 bar pushing plaster through 30m of hose - 15m of which in vertical mode! - enough to complete one and a half average sized bungalow s without mobilising the unit or preparing a fresh plaster mix and re-filling the hopper.

The unit comes complete with hopper, lance with revolutionary swivel system and two material hoses (5m or 10m x 1" regular and 3m x 3/4" whip hose).

Such is the quality of application that minimal material waste in rendering smooth is another cost-saving benefit.

Adding still further value to this applicator is the partnership HSL have forged with Wet and Dry Wall .

who can supply a vast range of accessories to include handles, spatulas, trowels and boxes in addition to taping and jointing tools that work with the T-Max 657 to accomplish a complete service.

Wet and Dry Wall .

undertake demonstrations and training in all aspects of plaster spraying, taping and jointing and internal and external cornering etc.

For the painters and decorators wishing to enhance their professional skills and extend the service to their clients this opportunity is not to be missed as the accessories retro-fit the T-MAX MkV and those already familiar with plastering will have much to gain if using this spray unit.

For the hands-on comfort factor, both HSL and Wet and Dry Wall .

will be giving demonstrations of the equipment at the National Painter and Decorator Show at The Ricoh Stadium , Coventry 11 - 12 November 2008 on Stand No: 30 as well as Interbuild at the NEC Birmingham 26th - 30th October 2008 on Stand 05-A124.

Hi-Tec Spray .

supply more than application equipment and plant in isolation.

They also develop a partnership with their clients to design and develop turnkey systems, where, on the one hand - individual components work well independently, and on the other - collectively fit together like a glove.

They are one of few companies able to pull both sides of the industry together to deliver that total professional solution.
