Hormann has launched a new, advanced version of its SupraMatic door operator which features a 50% quicker opening time on sectional garage doors.

Specialist garage door manufacturer Hormann has launched a new, advanced version of its SupraMatic door operator which features a 50% quicker opening time on sectional garage doors, new adjustable opening heights and garage light control.

The latest SupraMatic is housed in a stylish, brushed aluminium casing and boasts a rapid door opening time of 22cm per second, making it one of the fastest, quietest and smoothest operators on the market.

With the new operator users have the added benefit of being able to control their internal garage lighting, either via the hand transmitter or by use of an optional push-button unit which activates a halogen light on the operator power unit.

The new model also enables users to adjust their door opening height so that they can ventilate their garage without having to fully open the door.

In addition to the array of new functions Hormann's new SupraMatic incorporates all the benefits of the original model such as automatic door latching, which prevents the door from being levered open, and automatic cut-out, which instantly stops the door from closing if it encounters an obstruction.
