Fast, economical installation of precast concrete columns by simple bolt fixing is now possible with Halfen's new Column Shoe System.
Fast, economical installation of precast concrete columns by simple bolt fixing is now possible with Halfen's new Column Shoe System Unlike conventional methods of connecting precast columns to floor slabs, which can often be expensive to produce, transport and handle on site, the Column Shoe System is both user friendly and ready for immediate loading
Comprising specially-designed shoes that are cast into the base of the columns and anchor bolts that are cast into the floor slab, the System is very flexible in use and is suitable for a wide range of applications including columns of unusual cross section.
The System can also be used for continuous columns installed independently from the floor slab.
