They were tasked with producing some 60 precast sandwich panels each 5m long for the new Aldi store in Leyland and were faced with an awkward reinforcement connection.
Halfen soon rose to the challenge and provided the solution in the form of 1.2m abutting Kwikastrip casings, each housing some 46 specially-shaped T10 reinforcing bars at irregular centres.
