Simplifying precast cladding and coping support
Halfen's fixing systems simplify precast cladding and coping support at Triton Square.
The dowel is grouted into the structure and the tapped plate twisted onto the exposed thread.
Positioning of the panel is then achieved vertically by use of the tapped plate and horizontally within the grout recess.
When finally positioned, the dowel is sleeved and then grouted up with colour-matched mortar.
This method allows the coping to be placed without interrupting the insulation, whilst providing total adjustability for levelling.
The simple dowel pin in an oversize hole is both easy to fix yet strong and safe - Halfen offer a range of designs to cater for all moment conditions.
In addition, final fixing of the coping can be carried out with soft material so that differential movement during the life of the building is not restricted. Request a free brochure from Halfen ...
