Halfen punches its weight on Finchley Road project
Halfen's HDB Punching Shear Reinforcement system is playing a crucial role in the construction of two multi-storey apartment buildings in Finchley Road, North London.
The two- or three-stud elements are simply dropped into place in the reinforcement cage and retained in position by means of clip bars.
The brochure describes and illustrates the system and shows typical construction details including floor slabs, transfer slabs and pile caps.
Typical plans of the arrangement of elements around the columns are also shown.
Information is provided on how to select the appropriate product and the method used to calculate the shear stress and reinforcement requirement is explained.
To facilitate selection and use, Halfen also provide a specially written software programme that performs these calculations.
Copies of the HDB Punching Shear Reinforcement system brochure and the HDB Calculation Disk are available on request. Request a free brochure from Halfen ...
