A Halfen product story

Halfen Corner Guards designed as fender to protect the corners of concrete columns and walls in heavy traffic areas, particularly car parks.

Designed as a fender to protect the corners of concrete columns and walls in heavy traffic areas, particularly car parks, Halfen's Corner Guards are manufactured from 3 mm thick steel plate folded to form a 50 mm x 50 mm angle.

A new leaflet describes and illustrates the Guards, which are folded to a 90deg+ internal angle to provide a tight fit of edges against the formwork, whilst strip anchors are U shaped to avoid clashing with corner reinforcement.

Normally available in mild steel hot dip galvanised, the Guards are also available in stainless steel grade 304 to order.

Stock length is 1200 mm supplied with two M8 tapped holes to take M8 hex head set screws to enable the Guard to be pulled tight to the shutter.

Copies of the Halfen Corner Guards Leaflet are available on request.
