Halfen Brickwork Supports, Ties And Windposts
Halfen have produced a comprehensive ranges of brickwork supports, restraints and windposts that are described and illustrated in a new brochure.
The socket bars are a combination of high-strength threaded collars which are swaged onto European standard grade 500 reinforcement, whilst the connector bars are hot-forged with an 'upset' end.
The HBM system requires no site-swaging or threading.
Socket bars are available off-the-shelf in standard lengths and in diameters ranging from 12mm to 32mm.
Special lengths are possible up to 6m, and any bar can be supplied factory-bent to application requirements.
Nailing plates or standard metric bolts are used to fix the socket bards to formwork.
High tensile standard metric connecting studs can be used to connect two socket bars, usually when the required connector bar lengths are greater than those available.
The use of connecting studs can reduce the number of different socket and connector bars required and enhance the flexibility of the system.
A range of double-ended socket bars, double-ended connector bars and combinations of both are available to special order.
They can be supplied in straight lengths or bent to form U bars or L bars. Request a free brochure from Halfen ...
