Halfen Brickwork Supports, Ties And Windposts
Halfen have produced a comprehensive ranges of brickwork supports, restraints and windposts that are described and illustrated in a new brochure.
The anchor body is secured into the reinforced concrete frame of the building with its leading edge flush with the back of the facade panels and in line with a vertical joint.
A galvanised lug can then be hooked into the anchor and secured in position by a latch.
A scaffold tube fitting is then bolted to the lugs.
When not in use, the lugs are removed and the anchor is protected against the ingress of dirt by a plastic cap.
Available as standard for cavities up to 280 mm, the anchors are easy to install requiring only small holes to be drilled in the structural frame.
Plastic caps are available in light grey, black and transparent.
