Halfen's SPA Sandwich Panel Anchor system is a strong stainless steel system designed to support the outer skin of panels without interrupting the insulation.
Halfen's SPA Sandwich Panel Anchor system is a strong stainless steel system designed to support the outer skin of panels without interrupting the insulation.
It provides the added benefits of assisting fast, efficient casting of precast concrete sandwich panels, allowing panel demoulding and pitching at an early stage.
Precast concrete sandwich panels consist of two layers of concrete that are factory made with a central layer of insulation to make them thermally efficient.
The SPA system safely connects the various layers and transfers the load of the external facing panel to the internal load-bearing panel and the supporting structure.
Manufactured in grade A4 stainless steel, the system is engineered so that high load capacity is achieved with the minimum cross section of wire on every anchor.
The system avoids cold bridging from the outer skin to the inner panel or structure and will not restrict differential movement.
Anchor selection and layout is facilitated by the use of a Halfen calculation disc.
