Launch by Hillaldam Coburn of two new options in the Glassmaster Omega glass sliding door range widens the choice in sliding partition walls.

The launch by Hillaldam Coburn of two new options in the Glassmaster Omega glass sliding door range widens the choice for architects and specifiers in sliding partition walls Omega Type GG allows the clearest possible unbroken vision in a sliding partition

Designed for internal applications, Type GG is ideal for use where space needs to be divided into viewable rooms, such as shop fronts, conference rooms, showrooms and waiting areas.

All the glass is top hung as individual panels that can be moved manually or automatically without the need for floor tracks.

The glass is held in place by top and bottom clamps, with these interlocking rails supplied white as standard but with a range of other colours available, including a stainless steel option.

The value of Type GG is that it is a two point suspension only with no centre stack.

The first panel is fixed on pivots and operates like a swing door, which in turn, allows the other panels to be moved into the tacking area.

All glass is supplied with Type GG.

The Omega Type RG is a framed glass wall that can be used internally or externally.

It comprises movable glazed panels, which have operable seals like a normal movable wall.

Again fabricated with two point suspension, there is no telescopic end panel, rather a telescopic jamb sealing horizontally and vertically.

The panels incorporate top and bottom seals.

Type RG offers an acoustic rating up to Rw 39dB, confirming its compliance with recent changes in acoustic legislation.

Available either as single or double glazed, normal glass thickness is 10-12mm, with a maximum thickness of 52mm double glazed.

If used for exterior applications where space is a premium, there is a 10mm raised floor section with a drainage channel.

Type RG is either manually operated or semi automated where seals are activated electrically, or fully automated where seals and panels are activated electrically.

Double glazed versions can be fitted with integral blinds.

Both Type GG and Type RG have a maximum panel height of 4m, with Type GG having a maximum panel width of 1250mm compared to 1200mm for Type RG, and a weight of 150kg to Type RG's weight of 50kg.
