Suregrip Steps Up
The BBA approved SUREGRIP uPVC Roof Walkway system was used to fabricate 2 sets of steps in order to provide an access route to a roof area from valley to valley.
Without penetrating the roof's surface, Height Solutions of Sheffield installed 98 metres of white anti-slip walkway creating a safe, level and delineated access route.
Not only maintaining the waterproof integrity and complementing the overall aesthetics of the aluminium roof, the installation also complied with Part L of the Building Regulations.
SUREGRIP is manufactured in outdoor grade uPVC and is specifically designed to provide a definitive safe access route for maintenance personnel working in a roof top environment, as required under the CDM regulations.
All work conducted by Height Solutions meets the HSE'S recommendations as published in HS/G33 Safety in Roof Work and as outlined in the latest CIRIA publication 'Safe Access for Maintenance and Repair.'.
