Plastic Piling - The Low Cost Alternative

A H L Plastics product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 20, 2004

With the price of steel rapidly on the increase, the use of plastic sheet piling as a cost effective alternative, is fast proving a popular option for many applications.

H L Plastics' piling range is manufactured from 100% recycled PVC making it a maintenance free and environmentally friendly solution.

To complement the product range, H L Plastics have now developed a new colour brochure containing full technical specifications and illustrating the benefits of this option.

With 4 styles of piling sheets in the range, including a unique Tieback pile, this versatile range is suitable for many varied applications where previously steel, concrete or timber would have been used.

This includes domestic lawn edging, damming of peat bogs, coffer dams, cut-off walls, trench sheeting and a variety of bank stabilisation and retention applications.

The range also includes Corner Pile which enables 2 lines of sheets to be connected at 90 degree and a Connector Pile which allows 2 parallel runs of sheets to be connected to each other.

HL's Plastic Piling is far lighter than steel, is easy to install and does not rot or rust giving it a longer life span.
