The BBA approved SUREGRIP uPVC Roof Walkway system was used to fabricate 2 sets of steps in order to provide an access route to a roof area from valley to valley.
The BBA approved SUREGRIP uPVC Roof Walkway system was used to fabricate 2 sets of steps in order to provide an access route to a roof area from valley to valley.
Additionally SUREGRIPTM Fall Proof Covers were fitted to the fragile roof either side of the step units.
This non-penetrative permanent installation which formed an anti-slip access solution at Newage AVK SEG of Stamford, Lincs also provided the preferred form of collective fall prevention, thereby eliminating reliance on personal protective equipment, for contractors servicing plant and equipment.
SUREGRIP'S approved installer, Height Solutions carried out the work meeting the HSE'S recommendations as published in HSG33 Safety in Roof Work and as outlined in the latest CIRIA publication 'Safe Access for Maintenance and Repair.'.
