Birtley acquisition of HM Doors

Birtley Building Products, leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel lintels to the building and construction industry, have announced their acquisition of HM Doors.

HM Doors are one of the UK's leading suppliers of residential doors to the private housebuilding market.

"Our immediate and paramount aim, however, is to ensure that the amalgamation of the two companies is a seamless operation".

Birtley Building Products, based in County Durham, have more than 30 years experience in the design, specification, manufacture and selling of their steel lintel range and have been involved in the production and selling of steel and GRP composite residential doors into the house-builder market for the past six years.

The acquisition of HM Doors more than doubles their door volumes in the private house-builder sector and they now become significant suppliers to such house-builders as Persimmon Homes, Miller Homes, Bellway Homes and Redrow Homes".
