Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 30, 2004

In line with their continued growth, leading European specialist glass processors HansenGlass have began the expansion of their offices and manufacturing facility in Kirkby, Merseyside.

The £500k refurbishment includes new production offices, canteen and toilets.

Other elements of the expansion will involve extending the ground floor and first floor to increase the sales office capacity and provide more meeting rooms.

The finishing touches of the refurbishment will include a new facade with products supplied from the HansenGroup.

This includes Millenium from MagHansen, fire screens and doors from FendorHansen, feature entrance doors by PollardsFyrespan and steel doors from AccentHansen.

HansenGlass is part of the Anglo-Scandinavian HansenGroup, one of Europe's leading fenestration specialists in curtain walls, commercial windows, steel doors and fire resistant structural glazing.

The Group has annual sales of some £100 million and employs over 1,000 people.
