Hunter Douglas further expands sales force
Hunter Douglas, the UK's leading supplier of integrated facade systems, has further strengthened its UK sales force to cope with a significant growth.
Hunter Douglas Construction Elements has further strengthened its UK sales force to cope with a significant growth in customer enquiries over the past year.
Hunter Douglas, the UK's leading supplier of integrated facade systems, has appointed Iain Jones as area sales representative for parts of London and the south of England.
Iain is responsible for generating sales leads for the company's full range of Luxalon facade and sun control systems as well as providing advice and after-sales support.
His employment follows the recent appointment of a new sales and technical manager for Hunter Douglas sun control systems, an area of the business which has seen some major growth in the UK, particularly in combination with integrated sandwich wall and rainscreen facade systems.
Iain (26) studied construction at Barnfield College, Luton, and has spent a number of years in sales and engineering roles within the water industry.
He said: "This new role gives me a fantastic opportunity to further develop my technical skills, particularly in the climate of current regulations, where it's becoming more and more important to tackle construction in an integrated way.
"It is especially exciting to be part of such an internationally recognised brand like Hunter Douglas".
Andrew Lee, general manager of Staffordshire-based Hunter Douglas Construction Elements, said: "Iain's appointment represents a commitment by Hunter Douglas to ensure our clients and prospective clients have a full range of skills and advice at their disposal - when they need it.
I am confident Iain will be a very positive addition to our growing team".
He added: "We've seen a marked increase in sales enquiries during the course of this year, partly due to the fact that architects and specifiers are increasingly turning to suppliers whose range of products is wide enough to ensure they don't fall foul of new building regulations.".
