Wood ceilings for prestige commercial interiors
Wood ceilings are now a popular choices for prestige commercial interiors - and led Hunter Douglas to further expand its range of solid and wood veneer ceilings.
Wood ceilings used to be one of the best kept secrets in interior design.
Today, the trend of natural materials and finishes has made them one of the most popular choices for prestige commercial interiors - and led Hunter Douglas to further expand its range of solid and wood veneer ceilings.
Natural timber adds a unique warmth and atmosphere to any space and the Hunter Douglas Luxalon solid wood range is a stylish and practical solution for offices, receptions, foyers and boardrooms.
The linear ceiling collection is now available in a huge range of species, from soft varieties such as European Pine, Larch and Spruce to Cherry, Oak and Walnut.
The supporting linear and grille systems can be finished in transparent varnish or stained to any colour.
The wood can also be plain or quarter sawn to enhance its natural appearance.
Hunter Douglas is committed to the use of environmentally friendly raw materials and all its wood ceiling systems are FSC rated to minimise their impact on the planet.
Hunter Douglas wood veneer tiles capture the natural finish of wood complete with authentic touches such as growth patterns, knots and colour variations.
They also have the added benefit of a moisture resistant core and high grade varnish, enabling them to be used in exterior applications such as canopies or covered external areas.
Offered in 40 wood veneers, including beech, cherry and chestnut, the tiles make it easy to create individual interiors or co-ordinate with existing finishes.
With a choice of two standard tile sizes and three edge details - Classic, Prestige and Modern, the tiles also offer great flexibility in a practical and design sense.
They can be integrated with visible, semi-concealed and concealed suspension systems.
Tiles can be perforated to enhance the acoustic environment and be specified with Class 1/0 fire rating.
In common with all Luxalon ceiling systems, the tiles are easily demountable to allow full access to services and equipment in the plenum.
