Prestige Facade For Rolls Royce
The prestigious new state-of-the-art Rolls Royce aerospace engine facility near Glasgow has been completed to incorporate an architecturally striking facade using the Luxalon Bi-Modular Sandwich Wall.
The 30mm non-perforated panels were clipped onto the new carrier system, leaving 70mm open gaps to provide ventilation and allow subtle lighting to filter through.
Perforated panels with a non-woven textile membrane bonded to the inside face can also be specified to control noise reverberation in large meeting areas, offices and public spaces.
The Luxalon multi-panel linear ceiling system consists of recyclable, box-shaped panels that combine strength with low weight.
The panels are available in five varying widths up to 180mm and in any length up to 6000mm.
The 20mm open joint between panels can be closed with recessed V or U shaped join profiles to provide a visually closed ceiling.
The 30BD system allows total access to the plenum - each individual panel can easily be demounted by hand, without the use of additional tools.
One of the many benefits of Luxalon linear ceilings is their design flexibility.
Stunning dimensional effects can be achieved by combining varied widths and heights on the universal multi-panel carrier.
These effects can be enhanced by using different colours and flexible carriers can also be used to create curved ceilings.
