Howarth Switchgear new website includes details of their ultra compact HS50 range of plug in switch fuse switchboards.

Howarth Switchgear the Glasgow based specialists in electrical power distribution and control have uploaded their new website.

The site includes details of their ultra compact HS50 range of plug in switch fuse switchboards which are proving popular with specifiers, contractors and end users.

The switchboards have a smaller footprint than most switchgear making it ideal for building refurbishments where architects, consulting engineers and developers are having to get additional electrical distribution capacity into an existing confined space Chris Howarth Sales Director said "The HS50 compact switchboards are also ideal for applications where a distribution system is likely to evolve i.e.for landlords switchboards in speculative property developments".

A developing trend because of rising energy costs is that more and more switchboards require multiple Kwh meters for individual tenants or to appropriate energy usage costs to departments within large organisations.

The HS50 Compact range can be fitted with service inserts to accommodate these and other features such as surge arrestors, automatic changeover units , integral mcb boards and power factor correction equipment.
