A new range of guided pneumatic cylinders from Hoerbiger-Origa combines the driving and the guiding elements into a single unitary design that is compact, robust, simple and elegant The FZ series is available with a choice of sliding or ball bearing guides and the cylinder can be directly assembled with no mounting accessories required

The drive is double acting pneumatics, with or without end buffers, and the piston is magnetic for ease of position detection.

It is available in diameters of: 20, 25, 32, 40, 50mm and standard strokes of : 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200mm, with special strokes on request.

The FZ is expected to find applications in all sectors of industry, on duties such as lifting, feeding, and stopping of components in assembly and manufacturing.

Its straightforward design and low weight makes it ideal for use in multi axes systems, enhanced by the versatile top, bottom, side, back mounting options.

With reliability playing an increasingly important role in engineering success, Hoerbiger-Origa has gone all out to build quality into the FZ, as UK Managing Director Ray Barnes explains: "Time is one of the most valuable commodities in today's engineering environment; managing it efficiently can be the difference between success and failure.

So we have designed the FZ to simplify the machine/installation design and build function and ensured that its reliability is exceptional so that it will not cause unexpected production downtime and consequent loss of throughput. Request a free brochure from Hoerbiger-Origa ...

"Dismantling of a system and redeployment of the FZ to new duties is also simple, in line with another increasingly common trend in industry.".
